PRICE GUIDE
At Art You Can Eat, our prices are a reflection of all the love and care we put in to each cake design. Thrown in the mix is a whole heap of thought, creativity and time to give you the best looking and most delectable cake you have ever had.
CAKES
Cakes are layered to a height of 12cm. High Double Barrell Cakes are layered to 16-20cm.
Base price for individual cake tiers covered in BUTERCREAM start at $120
Base price for Individual cake tiers covered in FONDANT ICING start at $180
Number of tiers is unlimited. Cost of decorating each cake tier is dependent on the detail in design and time required.
3D cakes start from $350
CUPCAKES
Cupcakes start at $5.00 with a minimum order of 24
COOKIES
Cookies start at $4.50 with a minimum order of 24 and individually wrapped in transparent packaging.
FAQ's
TRANSPORTATION
DELIVERY
Delivery can be arranged within all Melbourne metro areas, Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. Deliveries outside a 5km radius of our kitchen in Bayswater will be subject to additional fees. Fee is calculated based on distance to location.
PICK UP
You can pick up your cake from our Bayswater location. Electing to pick up your cake releases us from any liability that may occur because of improper handling or accidents.
We recommend that all cakes be placed on a flat surface for transport. The method is either in the boot of the car or on the floor of the passenger seat.
Dont stress! We do this all the time and it is completely safe. Just ensure to drive carefully and the cake will remain stable in the box.
DESIGN PROCESS
To start the process, firstly you need to make contact either via phone or email. Send as much information as you have available on the type of event, date, theme, colour scheme, number of guests and any photos you may have googled and any other inspiration.
Once we discuss your requirements, we will confirm the design with you via email. If the design is completely custom, we will provide a detailed sketch of your cake. You can also choose to come in for a one on one consultation to discuss the design in detail.
We need at least 10-14 days notice for all cake orders.
TASTINGS
Generally we provide tasting sessions for larger cakes. Narrow your choices down to 3-4 flavours and a suitable day and time will be arranged accordingly.
Consultations are $30 sessions are booked on Mondays and Tuesdays.
CHANGES
We understand things can change, so we are completely open to design changes. It is important that any changes are confirmed at least 10 days prior to your delivery in order to ensure any design features can be made on time.
DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Once your order is confirmed, a 50% deposit is payable.
The balance is due 10 days prior to your event date. Accepted payment methods are cash and bank deposit.
Should there be an unforseen circumstance that requires your order to be cancelled, we must be informed via email at least 2 weeks prior to the date. Your deposit is non-refundable within 2 weeks of the booking date. If accessories have be purchased via a third party in preparation for your design, we will deduct the costs from your deposit refund.

OFF THE SHELF CAKES
As we are custom cake designers, we make all of our cakes to order. We do not have ready made cakes available for you to purchase on any given day.
